About

Today, I’m bringing you a very insightful and deep conversation with my fellow financial advisor, Dr. Preston Cherry.

Dr. Cherry is the President and Founder of Concurrent Financial Planning; a firm that helps households and business owners achieve life-money balance.

Dr. Cherry also serves as the Assistant Professor of Finance and the Head of the Personal Financial Planning Program at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay. His current research surrounds personality traits and financial uncertainty risks.

Dr. Cherry is also President-Elect of the Financial Therapy Association, serves on the CFP Board Council on Education, the Board of the Association of African American Advisors Foundation, and the Editorial Board of The Journal of Personal Finance.

He also is currently engaged, a cool uncle, writes poetry, and has a vinyl record collection.
